    chrlysmth: Katie: My Beautiful Face Katie Piper’s jealous, controlling boyfriend arranged for her be attacked by having sulphuric acid thrown at her face and chest. It burnt off 4 layers of her skin and meant that she had to have a skin-like compound to substitute. After 14 months and 29 operations she can finally breathe through her nose and move her neck. It’s disgusting what that man did to her. I find it inspiring that she is sharing her story with the world when she feels like she can’t even show the local pub her face. It is painfully honest but refreshingly so. I truelly hope she can move on with her life, break free from being ‘the girl who got attacked’ and become just Katie again. You’re so brave.
